Loving Generously

Kendall and Cooper met Calli at the airport for the first time a week ago today.  That first meeting will forever be etched in my mind.  So much anticipation, so much excitement, so very sweet.  It was truly love at first sight.  They loved her when all we had was a picture and a plan.  It was amazing from the start how much they understood about a new sister coming into our family.  For months they have gone back and forth between playing "I have a baby in my tummy" and "I'm dopping' a baby!"  They got it.  They get it.  Calli is their sister!

The feeling is mutual.  They are equally smitten.  Calli is more comfortable because of them.  They make her smile, laugh...they make her happy.  I think "Kendall" and "Cooper" will be some of her first English words (maybe after eat and food).

Every once in a while there has already been a minor turf war over toys or clothes, but for the most part it is 100% love.  We think Cooper has been waking up early each day because she is so excited about seeing Calli.

Our mission as a family is to impact God's kingdom by living and loving generously.  It has been so rewarding to see our girls loving so generously.  I have no doubt that God's kingdom is going to be impacted.
